Mathematics in a dynamic environment

The seventh bi-annual Delta conference on the teaching and learning of undergraduate mathematics and statistics (ΣΡΔ'09) takes place in the picturesque beach town of Gordon's Bay, close to Cape Town, South Africa. ΣΡΔ'09 forms part of the series of Delta conferences, a southern hemisphere initiative.

Previous Delta conferences were held in:

• Brisbane, Australia in 1997
• Laguna Quays, Australia in 1999
• Kruger National Park, South Africa in 2001
• Queenstown, New Zealand in 2003
• Fraser Island, Australia in 2005
• El Calafate, Argentina in 2007
